Been doing a second pass over the images, and have a few comments, if you don't mind.

First off, Documentation:

• It'd be really helpful in some cases to state composer as well as opera. Take File:Orfeo (mezzosoprano), figurino di Alfredo Edel per Orphée et Eurydice (1889) - Archivio Storico Ricordi ICON004459.jpg - Orphée et Eurydice is one of those titles that really isn't as distinct as it should be. File:Il castello di Re Arturo, bozzetto di Anton Brioschi per Merlin (1886) - Archivio Storico Ricordi ICON004203.jpg is possibly worse, as the only opera I can find for the right timeframe of that name is Goldmark's, but Brioschi isn't credited in the program for the première, which was late in 1886. Now, obviously, it's possible that an Italian production was in the works in production soon after the German one, and that's what it's for, but where is very hard to say, and it's always possible there's another Merlin out there that I don't know about.
• The archive sometimes uses Italian names for non-Italian operas. File:L'atrio della reggia dei Gibicungi, bozzetto di artista ignoto per Il crepuscolo degli dei (1896) - Archivio Storico Ricordi ICON009442.jpg appears to be Gotterdammerung, for instance. It'd be good to note the standard name in parentheses.
• Places of performance can also be helpful. For example, with File:La stazione, bozzetto di Vittorio Rota per Risurrezione (1906) - Archivio Storico Ricordi ICON002178.jpg it's said it's from 1906, so it can't be from the 1904 première, but it's hard to say anything more without substantially more research.

It'll help usage if we can be as sure of what we have as possible.

Secondly, on a different topic, File:Walküre (Waltraute) (mezosoprano), figurino di Carl Emil Doepler per Die Walküre (1876) - Archivio Storico Ricordi ICON003994.jpg. I believe this is from a book of Doepler's designs. If you can get me the complete set, I will promise you to restore every single one. It's a project I've wanted to do for a while, but a bunch of the files cut off the edges of the artwork - I remember the one for the dwarves was rather bad in that respect.

Thirdly, and this is probably more of a "me" problem - I've promised myself to do at least 50% female-related restorations. This does not include fictional women, but can include costume designs for named actresses, or anything designed by a woman. If you have anyhthing like that, it would be appreciated.

Fourthly, File:M.elle_Fonti,_figurino_di_artista_ignoto_per_La_revanche_de_Candaule_(s.d.)_-_Archivio_Storico_Ricordi_ICON013578.jpg is probably from about 1869. Fonti was in the première cast [File:M.elle_Fonti,_figurino_di_artista_ignoto_per_La_revanche_de_Candaule_(s.d.)_-_Archivio_Storico_Ricordi_ICON013578.jpg], and the première was in 1869. I don't... think it was revived. The quote about it at Jean-Jacques-Joseph Debillemont does not bode well for revivals. Kind of looks like there's significant amount of the edge of the image cut off in that one as well, since there's a bit of edge sticking in at the lower left. If you're doing the scanning anew, it's probably best to include more edge - easier to crop than rescan.

Looks like, of the six I've done so far, two (Puccini, Rosa Raisa) have passed, two more (Madama Butterfly and Gabrielle Ray are passing, and another two have just been nominated. I'm thinking that big group photo of Verdi next, and I think I might nominate Edgar without changes, because there really is nothing for me to do with that one. The order of completion and order of nomination is going to vary a little bit for various reasons (big one being if it's already in the article, so I don't have to wait for usage to stabilise). @Cerio3+ I suggest you to write your observations in Talk:Electrochemical_surface_area#Significant_work_is_needed, answering point by point, in a very polite and positive way. If you don't understand something, simply ask for more informations there. If you declare you are available to make any correction required by the Wikipedia guidelines (if in doubt, ask to the interlocutor to cite the precise guidelines, and to provide links), and you fix it, in this way generally the problem is solved in a few. Thank you for adding historic images of Italians in music, such as Nello Santi. When the image in the lead position is not free, feel free to replace it by the preferable free image. I don't know how similar. On en.wiki, a few editors don't want any infobox, at least not in articles they stand behind. When an infobox gets reverted, I usually just ignore it, - there are so many other things to improve.
