Information icon Hello, and thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. This is just a note to let you know that I've moved the draft that you were working on to Draft:Newsboat, from its old location at User:MichielN/NewsboatUser:MichielN/Newsboat. This has been done because the Draft namespace is the preferred location for Articles for Creation submissions. Please feel free to continue to work on it there. If you have any questions about this, you are welcome to ask me on my talk page. Thank you. -Liancetalk/contribs 16:29, 15 November 2021 (UTC)

Your submission at Articles for creation: Newsboat (November 16)

Your recent article submission to Articles for Creation has been reviewed! Unfortunately, it has not been accepted at this time. The reason left by Calliopejen1 was:
This submission's references do not show that the subject qualifies for a Wikipedia article—that is, they do not show significant coverage (not just passing mentions) about the subject in published, reliable, secondary sources that are independent of the subject. Before any resubmission, additional references meeting these criteria should be added (see technical help and learn about mistakes to avoid when addressing this issue). If no additional references exist, the subject is not suitable for Wikipedia.
Please check the submission for any additional comments left by the reviewer. You are encouraged to edit the submission to address the issues raised and resubmit when they have been resolved.

Mullvad

Looks like {{Infobox online service}} doesn't have a module param.

Thanks for pointing that out to me. This was the first time I ever tried to connect different Infoboxes. I thought I had got it right but I had missed the empty "| module = }}" elsewhere on the page. Someone (you?) has fixed it now, similar to how I had it set up initially, just two separate Infoboxes.  Preceding unsigned comment added by MichielN (talkcontribs) 12 November 2025
No problem. Wasn't me, I just happened to notice someone trying to fix it and thought I'd let you know. Seercat3160 (talk) 09:13, 12 November 2025 (UTC)

January 2026

Information icon Welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia, articles should not be moved, as you did to World Indoor Rowing Championships, without good reason. They should have a name that is both accurate and intuitive. Wikipedia has some guidelines in place to help with this. Generally, a page should only be moved to a new title if the current name does not follow these guidelines. Also, if a page move is being discussed, consensus needs to be reached before anybody moves the page. If you would like to experiment with page titles and moving, please use the test Wikipedia. Take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. Thank you. QEnigma 08:29, 10 January 2026 (UTC)

Hello @QEnigma:, I thought consensus was only required in cases of controversial titles. WP:RM states "If you have no reason to expect a dispute concerning a move, be bold and move the page". In this case the original title was outright wrong, because it deviated from the actual official name of the event. While 'indoor rowing' is a common phrase, these are indoor championships organized by World Rowing, and follow the naming for similar World Rowing events. So I was bold and moved it. I noticed you already reverted the move back to its incorrect name. Can you explain why you considered my move to be anything other than just an uncontroversial move?
