Welcome!

Hello, Morinator, and welcome to Wikipedia! I hope you like the place and decide to stay. Unfortunately, one or more of the pages you created, such as Black Forest Labs, may not conform to some of Wikipedia's content policies and may not be retained. In short, the topic of an article must be notable and have already been the subject of publication by reliable and independent sources.

Please review Your first article for an overview of the article creation process. The Article Wizard is available to help you create an article, where it will be reviewed and considered for publication. For information on how to request a new article that can be created by someone else, see Requested articles. If you are stuck, come to the Teahouse, where experienced Wikipedians can help you through the processes.

Speedy deletion nomination of Black Forest Labs

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Black Forest Labs requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a company, corporation or organization that does not credibly indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please read more about what is generally accepted as notable.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator. Product quantization moved to draftspace

Thanks for your contributions to Product quantization. Unfortunately, I do not think it is ready for publishing at this time because it needs more sources to establish notability. I have converted your article to a draft which you can improve, undisturbed for a while.

Please see more information at Help:Unreviewed new page. When the article is ready for publication, please click on the "Submit for review" button at the top of the page OR move the page back. Cinder painter (talk) 09:28, 21 March 2025 (UTC)

fair I think.
I mostly wanted to get the ball rolling for others to join in, but a draft is visible for others too right? Morinator (talk) 10:45, 21 March 2025 (UTC)

Information icon Welcome to Wikipedia, and thank you for your contributions. Although everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia, please note that there is a Manual of Style that should be followed to maintain a consistent, encyclopedic appearance. Deviating from this style, as you did in AI boom, disturbs uniformity among articles and may cause readability or accessibility problems. Please take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. Per MOS:OVERLINK, nobody's going to need to click on a link to the China article, in this context. Belbury (talk) 16:20, 25 March 2025 (UTC)

hm imo it's relevant as China is arguably the #2 player after the US, but if countries are explicitly discouraged, then it should be consistent Morinator (talk) 19:37, 25 March 2025 (UTC)
The article should definitely mention China, there's just no need to include a link to the China article. As the MOS says:

A good question to ask yourself is whether reading the article you're about to link to would help someone understand the article you are linking from.

"Europe" and "North America" weren't linked, in the same sentence. It's assumed that the reader will already know what China, Europe and North America are, and won't need to pause their reading about the AI boom to open a new tab and find out. Belbury (talk) 09:09, 26 March 2025 (UTC)

Your draft article, Draft:Product quantization

Hello, Morinator. This message concerns the Articles for Creation submission or draft page you started, "Product quantization".

Drafts that go unedited for six months are eligible for deletion, in accordance with our draftspace policy, and this one has been nominated for deletion. If you plan on working on it further, or editing it to address the issues raised if it was declined, simply edit the submission, and remove the {{db-afc}}, {{db-draft}}, or {{db-g13}} code.

If your submission has already been deleted by the time you read this, you can request its undeletion. An administrator will, in most cases, restore the draft so you can continue to work on it.

Thank you for your submission to Wikipedia! DreamRimmer bot II (talk) 12:25, 7 December 2025 (UTC)
