Please check this page and fix the errors highlighted. If you think this is a false positive, you can report it to my operator. Thanks, Qwerfjkl (bot) (talk) 00:06, 20 November 2025 (UTC)
Unichar "optimisation"
Just an FYI, no need to do anything unless you want to.
You are correct to recognise that {{unichar| 3326| Square doru}} and {{unichar| 3326}} are the same because (due to repeated vandalism and occasional incompetence <blush>), the canonical name is no longer required as it is now fetched from Wikidata. The template parses it but does nothing with it - it is treated as a comment. But that is not a trivial consideration: it is often helpful to editors to see in the source at least the intended name. "Optimisation" is in the eye of the beholder and in this case particularly, I would have left well enough alone. 𝕁𝕄𝔽 (talk) 20:42, 4 February 2026 (UTC)
- sorry uh'bout that; if I start to edit a page—and in the process not wanting to proceed with the edit, I usually look through the source and see if there's anything I could do to lightly golf it (or fix outright like an actuáll broken template param etc etc). Im quite the yapper but Ive been trying to make sure I only include the pertinents in edit descriptions
- postsend: I read your userpage, thanks for keeping antifa ideology well and alive (especially the bits about Nazis, Im Ashkenazi and it always makes me smile seeing that!) —It's Okkirae.temp ('Sup?)! 22:49, 4 February 2026 (UTC)
