Three-revert rule
I assume you are familiar with WP:3RR on en.wiki. If not, please take a read through it. Your edits to International Civil Aviation Organization do not qualify for an exception. —C.Fred (talk) 20:01, 2 October 2017 (UTC)
- @C.Fred: I am familiar with this rule but I do not know if you also have the exception: ...to revert clear vandalism... block evasion is vandalism. Spreading his specific pov also. But if you prefer, I will leave him to you and I hope, you have fun with him. He went to the arbcom at de-wiki, his claims were rejected. Today he continued spreading his pov and was blocked. Then he came over to you.
- I have a different view of wikipedia. I think it is one project with many languages and with many different rules in each version. --Pentachlorphenol (talk) 20:10, 2 October 2017 (UTC)
Three revert rule
Greetings Pentachlorphenol. I see that you are a frequent and respected contributor at German Wikipedia, and drop by English Wikipedia from time to time. Welcome back!
I noticed that you are engaged in a content dispute with Peterpens at the article International Civil Aviation Organization. If you weren't already aware of this, English Wikipedia has something called the three revert rule. It states that an editor must not perform more than three reverts on a single page—whether involving the same or different material—within a 24-hour period. I'm not sure if German Wikipedia has a similar rule.
I'm sure you can appreciate why we want editors to follow the proper dispute resolution process, whether they are newcomers or experienced users like yourself. Thanks. --Drm310 🍁 (talk) 20:05, 2 October 2017 (UTC)
ArbCom 2025 Elections voter message
Hello! Voting in the 2025 Arbitration Committee elections is now open until 23:59 (UTC) on Monday, 1 December 2025. All eligible users are allowed to vote. Users with alternate accounts may only vote once.
The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to impose binding solutions to disputes between editors, primarily for serious conduct disputes the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the authority to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail.
If you wish to participate in the 2025 election, please review the candidates and submit your choices on the voting page. If you no longer wish to receive these messages, you may add {{NoACEMM}} to your user talk page. MediaWiki message delivery (talk) 00:30, 18 November 2025 (UTC)
