Tips
  • Don't be afraid to edit! Just find something that can be improved and make it better. Other editors will help fix any mistakes you make.
  • It's normal to feel a little overwhelmed, but don't worry if you don't understand everything at first—it's fine to edit using common sense.
  • If an edit you make is reverted, you can discuss the issue at the article's talk page. Be civil, and don't restore the edit unless there is consensus.
  • Always use edit summaries to explain your changes.
  • When adding new content to an article, always include a citation to a reliable source.
  • If you wish to edit about a subject with which you are affiliated, read our conflict of interest guide and disclose your connection.
  • Have fun! Your presence in the Wikipedia community is welcome.

Information icon Welcome to Wikipedia. Editors are expected to treat each other with respect and civility. On this encyclopedia project, editors assume good faith while interacting with other editors, which you did not appear to do at Talk:Tulsi Gabbard. Here is Wikipedia's welcome page, and it is hoped that you will assume the good faith of other editors and continue to help us improve Wikipedia! Thank you very much! You said "appear", meaning that it appeared so to you. But did you apply good faith in reading my message, or does a good faith interpretation of my message exist that shows good faith assumptions were made? Peptidylprolyl (talk) 10:23, 7 August 2025 (UTC) You know what, don't bother responding. I'll leave Wikipedia. Peptidylprolyl (talk) 10:30, 7 August 2025 (UTC)

Introduction to contentious topics

You have recently edited a page related to post-1992 politics of the United States and closely related people, a topic designated as contentious. This is a brief introduction to contentious topics and does not imply that there are any issues with your editing.

A special set of rules applies to certain topic areas, which are referred to as contentious topics. These are specially designated topics that tend to attract more persistent disruptive editing than the rest of the project and have been designated as contentious topics by the Arbitration Committee. When editing a contentious topic, Wikipedia's norms and policies are more strictly enforced, and Wikipedia administrators have an expanded level of powers and discretion in order to reduce disruption to the project.

Within contentious topics, editors should edit carefully and constructively, refrain from disrupting the encyclopedia, and:

Editors are advised to err on the side of caution if unsure whether making a particular edit is consistent with these expectations. If you have any questions about contentious topics procedures, you may ask them at the arbitration clerks' noticeboard or you may learn more about this contentious topic here. You may also choose to note which contentious topics you know about by using the {{Ctopics/aware}} template.

Information icon You have recently made edits related to gender-related disputes or controversies or people associated with them. This is a standard message to inform you that gender-related disputes or controversies or people associated with them is a designated contentious topic. This message does not imply that there are any issues with your editing. For more information about the contentious topics system, please see Wikipedia:Contentious topics. Blocked

You have been indefinitely blocked as not being here to help create an encyclopedia per your general contempt of the project and its editors as demonstrated for example in this post and in your general bludgeoning of Talk:Charlie Kirk. You can request unblock from an uninvolved administrator by placing {{unblock|your reason here}} on this page. Bishonen | tålk 09:42, 14 September 2025 (UTC).

I've been blocked because Wikipedia curates particular political stances. Peptidylprolyl (talk) 09:46, 14 September 2025 (UTC)
You disagree with the mainstream and thus with what we consider to be reliable sources. That's your problem don't try to make it ours. Go to Conservapedia or Metapedia. Doug Weller talk 09:53, 14 September 2025 (UTC)
Political stances? It doesn't curate extremism such as seen from the far left and far right (let alone the extreme left and extreme right). I'm not sure making such claims @Peptidylprolyl are the best form of assuring the community that there won't be recidivism if seek unblocking. Nfitz (talk) 22:23, 17 September 2025 (UTC)
