Welcome!
Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia!
It appears you may have used a large language model (LLM), such as ChatGPT, in your edits. While LLMs are powerful, machine-generated text often contains serious flaws. They may introduce bias, errors, plagiarism, libel, or even hoaxes. Specifically asking an LLM to "write a Wikipedia article" can sometimes cause the output to be outright fabrication, complete with fictitious references. Editors must verify all LLM-generated text before using it in an article. Completely LLM-generated articles may be quickly deleted. If you are unsure about your wording, an alternative is to suggest it on the talk page for another volunteer to look at it. If you are creating a new article, you may use the Articles for Creation process to get feedback on your work.

- Thank you @Jlwoodwa for taking the time to look at my first article. I appreciate your warning. However, this article is about close colleague and scientific collaborator of mine (I have declared my COI per wikipedia guidelines.) I have worked with him for nearly thirty years and I am very familiar with his work and notable accomplishments. While ChatGPT was used to research his notable contributions and locate the relevant references, I can assure you that I have thoroughly verified all of the said references and consulted with my colleague on material that was unfamiliar to me. I am well aware of the pitfalls and limitations of LLM generated output. But when used appropriately they can be of great assistance and save a lot of time. Please let me know if you see an specific issues you are concerned about the article. Physicistoncall (talk) 11:18, 28 March 2026 (UTC)
