- Do a search on Google or your preferred search engine for the subject of the Wikipedia article that you want to create a citation for.
- Find a website that supports the claim you are trying to find a citation for.
- In a new tab/window, go to the citation generator, click on the 'An arbitrary website' bubble, and fill out as many fields as you can about the website you just found.
- Click the 'Get reference wiki text' button.
- Highlight, and then copy (Ctrl+C or Apple+C), the resulting text (it will be something like
<ref> {{cite web | .... }}</ref>, copy the whole thing). - In the Wikipedia article, after the claim you found a citation for, paste (Ctrl+V or Apple+V) the text you copied.
- If the article does not have a References or Notes section (or the like), add this to the bottom of the page, but above the External Links section and the categories:
==References==
{{Reflist}}

Hello,
regarding this edit you said "These aren't mistakes, and பங்கு is wrong", changing "உணர்வுப் பங்கில் நடந்துகொள்ள வேண்டும்" to "உணர்வுப் பாங்கில் நடந்துகொள்ளல் வேண்டும்". Two things.
1. I understand why it was reverted to பாங்கு, but right now it's translated as "They among-one-another brotherly feeling share-in act must." (literally). Would this be better translated as "They among-one-another brotherly feeling spirit-in act must."? I just did this so that the text would match with its translation.
2. How is "நடந்துகொள்ள வேண்டும்" wrong? I have only ever heard "செய்ய வேண்டும்", "பண்ண வேண்டும்", not "செய்யல் வேண்டும்" and "பண்ணல் வேண்டும்". Are you sure this was correct? --Plantman (talk) 23:51, 13 October 2025 (UTC)
- 1.
Would this be better translated as "They among-one-another brotherly feeling spirit-in act must."? - IMO yes, that would make it more faithful to the original meaning.
- 2. "நடந்துகொள்ள வேண்டும்" isn't wrong, and "நடந்துகொள்ளல் வேண்டும்" isn't either. While using the infinitive + வேண்டும் like you said is more common; gerund + வேண்டும், like "செய்யல் வேண்டும்", "பண்ணல் வேண்டும்" too are perfectly alright. Attestations for "செய்யல் வேண்டும்" in gbooks for example- Pixelpito (talk) 07:03, 14 October 2025 (UTC)
- Thanks. Done! --Plantman (talk) 16:56, 14 October 2025 (UTC)
