Image Tagging Image:Mikepsy.jpg
This media may be deleted. |
Thanks for uploading Image:Mikepsy.jpg. I notice the 'image' page currently doesn't specify who created the content, so the copyright status is therefore unclear. If you have not created this media yourself then you need to argue that we have the right to use the media on Wikipedia (see copyright tagging below). If you have not created the media yourself then you should also specify where you found it, i.e., in most cases link to the website where you got it, and the terms of use for content from that page.
If the media also doesn't have a copyright tag then you must also add one. If you created/took the picture, audio, or video then you can use {{GFDL-self}} to release it under the GFDL. If you believe the media qualifies as fair use, please read fair use, and then use a tag such as {{Non-free fair use in|article name}} or one of the other tags listed at Wikipedia:Image copyright tags#Fair_use. See Wikipedia:Image copyright tags for the full list of copyright tags that you can use.
If you have uploaded other media, please check that you have specified their source and copyright tagged them, too. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any unsourced and untagged images will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. Unreferenced BLPs
Hello Psymba! Thank you for your contributions. I am a bot alerting you that 1 of the articles that you created is tagged as an Unreferenced Biography of a Living Person. The biographies of living persons policy requires that all personal or potentially controversial information be sourced. In addition, to ensure verifiability, all biographies should be based on reliable sources. If you were to bring this article up to standards, it would greatly help us with the current 0 article backlog. Once the article is adequately referenced, please remove the {{unreferencedBLP}} tag. Here is the article:
- Paul Dengelegi - Find sources: Google (books · news · scholar · free images · WP refs) · FENS · JSTOR · TWL
Thanks!--DASHBot (talk) 06:20, 15 January 2010 (UTC)
- It is not unreferenced, and this automated message is in error. However, there may be a case that this fails WP:GNG, despite the references. Shawn in Montreal (talk) 15:06, 15 January 2010 (UTC)
Proposed deletion of Paul Dengelegi

The article Paul Dengelegi has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
- He is not notable. No sources for minor career as author. No reason to think he is more notable than 1,000s of others in prison for drug offenses.
While all contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.
You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.
Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{dated prod}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. The speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Steve Dufour (talk) 04:47, 4 February 2010 (UTC)

You may also edit the article during the discussion to improve it but should not remove the articles for deletion template from the top of the article; such removal will not end the deletion debate.
Please note: This is an automatic notification by a bot. I have nothing to do with this article or the deletion nomination, and can't do anything about it. --Erwin85Bot (talk) 01:05, 6 February 2010 (UTC)

Draft:Mike_Abrams_(psychologist)
Dear Psymba, hi. I hope all is well. I think it might be good for you to have another look at WPs COI guidelines (WP:COI)). Lots of WP editors get a bit (very annoyed) with COI or other edits that might even remotely be promotional. There are, I think, good reasons for this... but it does often lead to some problems. This is just a gentle suggestion. The COI advice includes COI editors are strongly discouraged from editing affected articles directly, and can propose changes on article talk pages instead. Best wishes (Msrasnw (talk) 09:18, 22 August 2025 (UTC))
- Thank you for your work on Wikipedia and the edits you made to my bio. I do appreciate the general caution against people with COI against making edits. However, OwenX, the administrator who moved the former article to draft space wrote, "Being in draftspace will also allow declared COI editors such as the subject himself to contribute, which they aren't allowed to do in mainspace." Could you refer them to the deletion discussion, which is linked from the talk page of the draft? I believed this to be an implied invitation for me to help with the edits, making the entry complete without being promotional. In addition, the vast preponderance of the content put into the draftspace was entered by an established Wikipedia contributor. I merely made some editorial corrections. In addition, I believe one of the reasons that Wikipedia's draft space was created was explicitly to allow editors with a declared conflict of interest to contribute. Kind regards, Mike Abrams Psymba (talk) 00:02, 23 August 2025 (UTC)
- So sorry I had thought this might still cause issues and was not aware that it would be ok to do this COI kind of editting anywhere on WP. Best wishes (Msrasnw (talk) 00:59, 23 August 2025 (UTC)
- Thank you for getting back to me. I welcome your review of the newly edited page that should be non-promotional and adequately cited. I hopefully expect OwenX will review it. If you have any suggestions or comments for improvement, they are surely welcome.
- Kind regards, Psymba (Mike Abrams) Psymba (talk) 21:26, 30 August 2025 (UTC)
