The first source, the Jerusalem Post, does mention the words used in the lead, but clearly states the purpose of the festival is to bring together musicians from both Jewish and Arab populations, sp this core point did not make the article text, which said something else instead.
Thank you for the feedback. I have updated the draft to include the festival's mission of uniting Jewish and Arab musicians, as reported in The Jerusalem Post. ~~~~Ruth-M1234 (talk) 11:04, 29 March 2026 (UTC)
@Ruth-M1234 - thanks for that, but it looks to me that AI / chatgpt or similar was used to write the text here? If so it would need to be rewritten to comply with WP:NEWLLM. ChrysGalley (talk) 11:07, 29 March 2026 (UTC)
Thanks for pointing that out. Since English is not my native language, I used translation and grammar tools to make the entry readable and professional. However, I personally verified all information against the indicated sources and built the content manually. I will go over the text again to make sure it has a more natural tone and meets the policy guidelines. Ruth-M1234 (talk) 11:12, 29 March 2026 (UTC)
@Ruth-M1234 There is no requirement for article to be professional quality. Readable does help but it's a low bar there too, we don't need great English to be used. Any English mistakes can be fixed quickly, and we have a copyediting Guild that helps with that. But it takes hours and hours to unravel the damage done by AI. It's OK to use a translation tool to do a direct word to word translation, but that's all. It may actually be a lot easier to get an article into your native language's Wikipedia first, then translate it to English as a second stage. This is because it would then be OK to machine translate from another language Wikipedia to English Wikipedia. Then you get two Wikipedia articles for (almost) the price of one, so it's a win-win. Thank you. I wrote the Hebrew article but failed to replicate it here correctly. I have revised the draft, removed the separate sentence about musicians, and added the word 'musicians' to the lead paragraph. ~~~~
OK, that is good to know. So you get an independent review now, it's best that I let another review editor has another look on it. I tend to avoid being reviewer number 1 and 2 and 3, it's better to get new eyes on the article. You can still keep working the article after submission. ChrysGalley (talk) 13:36, 29 March 2026 (UTC)
Understood. Thank you for your guidance and for the initial review. Ruth-M1234 (talk) 13:44, 29 March 2026 (UTC)
