The succession boxes I placed on the World Cup of Hockey articles and 4 Nations Face-Off articles are not a personal POV. They were based on this article. I have changed the title however, to be more clear that it's tournaments with full NHL inclusion, rather than "best-on-best" as I can see why that term may appear to be more of a POV. I am confused, can you explain what you mean is "historically inaccurate" about this wording in reference to the Utah Mammoth and Arizona Coyotes? mftp dan ^oops 18:45, 4 May 2026 (UTC)

@MFTP Dan: Utah Mammoth is not a relocation of Arizona Coyotes (same situation like Baltimore Ravens and Cleveland Browns). NHL has said that more than once and it was thoroughly discussed at WT:NHL and other places. Meanwhile, your statement says exactly the opposite to what NHL has stated. – sbaio 14:54, 5 May 2026 (UTC)

I understand as much as the relocation semantics. What I don't understand is how that wording implies there's a relocation. That wasn't my intention. re: this revert on NHL conference finals.

we avoid using [class="wikitable sortable"] in NHL pages

I checked WP:HOCKEY and Wikipedia:WikiProject Ice Hockey/Structure and didn't see any article style guidelines about sorting. Was WP:BOLD and added it as it seems helpful for a user who would be looking to find the minimum and maximum values in each column. Is there a technical or other issue with WP:SORT on hockey specific articles? Thanks.

I am not sure why, but WP:NHL avoids using sortable option in tables about titles. I think it is best to ask about it at WikiProject's talk page. – sbaio 19:51, 26 May 2026 (UTC)

Hi, I'm interested to know more about your last two edits to Vegas Golden Knights, which surprised me because the versions I'd left were automatically generated citations. You've obviously been here long enough to know (and I hadn't been on here for around a decade until about a year ago), so could you enlighten me about the template changes you made there and why?
