Naty Hrychová moved to draftspace
Thanks for your contributions to Naty Hrychová. Unfortunately, I do not think it is ready for publishing at this time because it needs more sources to establish notability and it is promotional and reads like an advertisement. I have converted your article to a draft which you can improve, undisturbed for a while.
Please see more information at Help:Unreviewed new page. When the article is ready for publication, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page OR move the page back. Vegantics (talk) 16:44, 24 April 2025 (UTC)
- @Vegantics: Hi, first of all, thank you for explaining your move.I don't understand your reservations about the current form of the article. Could you please be more specific?
- To nobility: The article as it stands now describes a singer who was the youngest person to attend a Rock for People concert in the Czech Republic. The link you sent me contains five key assumptions of nobility. Predictability is guaranteed by the use of credible sources such as Czech Radio (one of three public media channels in the Czech Republic, which has no connection to Hrychová), Novinky.cz (private media), Antiyoutuber.cz (private media) and so on. Many of the sources are media interviews with Hrychová (herself) regarding her life, career and other details about her person. All sources in the current text are secondary (NEWSORG), including the national database of entrepreneurs in the Czech Republic (the first ref in the infobox). The only source that perhaps doesn't match it is a link to Hanychová's profile on the Semafor theatre website. Is this really enough for you to question in nobility?
- To the article's commerce: Clicking through the link you sent me, I came to a page describing Spam on Wikipedia. Clicking through the link you sent me, I came to a page describing Spam on Wikipedia. I have no idea what you mean by that. In the external links, there is a link to Hanych's website as well as ibox and her IMDb profile. The article mentions sexual intercourse with a partner, which is corroborated by a reference to a journalistic article where the information is confirmed by Hrychová herself. The rest of the text is written in an encyclopedic style that always refers to the author of the statement in the text as well.
- In conclusion, I believe that the article does not belong in the quick delete category because it contains credible sources for Czech journalistic articles and official national databases. Is there any procedure for possible appeal against a quick deletion? Thank you for reading my response and your possible reply. Take care.--Segoulas (talk) 17:16, 24 April 2025 (UTC)
- Hi @Segoulas, thank you for reaching out. I think it is very possible that Naty Hrychová is notable enough as defined by WP:SINGER to merit an article, but I do not think your draft is ready yet. My concern is primarily with the tone of the article and a secondary concern is the quality of the resources used. The links that you saw were part of an automated process of moving an article to a draft and I'm sorry that they were not clearer.
- Wikipedia articles are expected to use a neutral tone and present balanced information on a topic. Your use promotional language, such as the phrases "From that point on, she became a household name," and "Hrychová subsequently decided to leave musical industry, despite the fact that directors favored her over other actresses" suggest that you have a bias in favor of Hrychová.
- In terms of the resources used, some of them are unreliable (see WP:IMDB and WP:RSPFACEBOOK). Four of your sources are interviews, which are WP:PRIMARY sources because Hrychová is speaking about herself and can also be considered unreliable (see WP:INTERVIEWS). That leaves four independent, secondary resources, which I agree is enough to establish notability. However, before publishing this article I would encourage you to look for more independent coverage.
- Because this is your first Wikipedia article, I would encourage you to use WP:AFC to have a more experienced editor review it. I am also happy to provide any further feedback if you like. Good luck in your editing. Vegantics (talk) 17:54, 24 April 2025 (UTC)
