Subhasree Thanikachalam is an Indian music curator and presenter known for her thematic stage and digital productions centred on Tamil film and devotional music. She is associated with the concert series Quarantine From Reality (QFR), which began as an online musical presentation during the COVID-19 pandemic and later transitioned into live performances.

Career
Subhasree has been involved in music production and curated presentations since the 1990. Her work has included themed concerts revisiting vintage Tamil compositions and devotional repertoire. Coverage in The New Indian Express noted her role in organizing a musical tribute to M. G. Ramachandran.[1]
Her concerts have been reviewed in The Hindu, including performances featuring curated selections of film and classical compositions.[2] She has also participated in the annual Margazhi music season in Chennai.[3]
Quarantine From Reality
In March 2020, during the COVID-19 lockdown, Subhasree began hosting an online musical series titled Quarantine From Reality (QFR). The program revisited Tamil film songs with commentary on their musical structure, orchestration, and background.[4]
Subsequent reporting in The Hindu described the expansion of QFR into live concert formats, including performances that incorporated devotional repertoire and orchestral arrangements.[5]
The series has also been presented outside India, including performances in the United States.[6]
