Hello, I am an independent film history and criticism writer based in Texas. I am passionate about independent regional cinema within the state. I hope to make contributions here to expanding the available information on contemporary independent filmmakers whose careers are having an impact on our storytelling scene today. I am also fascinated by the silent cinema that was created throughout the state and am working on a research project to better understand the rise and fall of early silent cinema within Texas.
