Editing question

You removed something i added to the Dan hentschel wiki because the source wasnt reliable enough. I was confused so i just added a link to his youtube. How should i have sourced the fact that he his comedy is absurdist at points? Since it is just an obvious observation. CheddarCheeseJohnson (talk) 21:10, 16 December 2025 (UTC)

Apologies, I didn't properly use the reply button earlier so I'm not sure if you'll have been notified (see my response below) 🙂 Toadheart (talk) 23:10, 16 December 2025 (UTC)

Hi @CheddarCheeseJohnson, thank you for asking. I reverted that edit because the source given was Herschel's YouTube channel rather than a source that specifically refers to his humor as "absurdist", so unfortunately it didn't support the edit you made.

As comedy is subjective, it might not be obvious to everyone that something is absurdist, so it's important to provide a source that can back this up, which allows people reading the article to check where that information comes from (on Wikipedia this is referred to as Verifiability)

I see in the Comedic style section of Hentschel's article there are a couple of reliable sources where he describes his style. If you can find something like that which supports the term "absurdist" that would work great!

I hope this helps answer your question :) Toadheart (talk) 21:31, 16 December 2025 (UTC)

Yes i understand, he calls his style surrealist in one of his “son loaf” video. is it enough if i link to that video with a timestamp, or does it have to be from an article or interview? ~2025-41087-59 (talk) 06:10, 17 December 2025 (UTC)
Hello, I believe that one of his YouTube videos with a timestamp to the part where he says that would be fine to support a statement along the lines of "Hentschel has described his comedy as being (surrealist/absurdist) in nature". Toadheart (talk) 09:57, 17 December 2025 (UTC)
Great, i will do that, thank you. CheddarCheeseJohnson (talk) 11:10, 17 December 2025 (UTC)

About reverted edit

hey I want to know about the reason you reverted edits on article "Namaste falls". The mistakenly mentioned disruptive editing while I was going to write good faith edit. There's no point in having the word in three different languages Nepwikigod (talk) 13:00, 18 January 2026 (UTC)

Hello, thank you for asking. I reverted your edit because:
1) I think it's beneficial to include the name in those languages (I'd disagree that there's no point; presumably those languages are used in the place the waterfall is located, so it's useful information IMO)
2) the edits you reverted included a fix of a missing word
I hope that clarifies things :-) Toadheart (talk) 15:35, 18 January 2026 (UTC)
