- Don't be afraid to edit! Just find something that can be improved and make it better. Other editors will help fix any mistakes you make.
- It's normal to feel a little overwhelmed, but don't worry if you don't understand everything at first—it's fine to edit using common sense.
- If an edit you make is reverted, you can discuss the issue at the article's talk page. Be civil, and don't restore the edit unless there is consensus.
- Always use edit summaries to explain your changes.
- When adding new content to an article, always include a citation to a reliable source.
- If you wish to edit about a subject with which you are affiliated, read our conflict of interest guide and disclose your connection.
- Have fun! Your presence in the Wikipedia community is welcome.

Unlinking publishers in citations
Hi, I noticed you made an edit unlinking the names of publishers in citations in this edit. While (un)linking publishers is neither encouraged or discouraged, WP:CITEVAR (a Manual of Style page) instructs against changing the systematically format of citations without a good reason. But I am nitpicking, and this really isn't a big deal, so consider this a friendly note for future editing.

- In any case, I support your work removing cruft and trimming down Age and health concerns about Donald Trump. Ca talk to me! 01:08, 6 April 2025 (UTC)
- Thank you, Ca. I was of the impression that publishers weren't supposed to be linked within citations. I must have been mistaken. Too-Rye-Ay (talk) 20:46, 6 April 2025 (UTC)
Edit Request
Your work on the Richard Shelby article was very good. I am not experienced in editing Wikipedia and am currently editing as an IP so could you add some on his earmarking prowess and pork barrel spending for the State of Alabama that is completely missing in the article. I have added sources in the talk page. Could you please consider my request? 2405:201:9004:E1CD:6819:A3F3:57B8:F40 (talk) 22:03, 14 May 2025 (UTC)
- Hi there. Thanks for reaching out. This is a busy time for me, and I may not have a chance to get to the Shelby page for awhile, but I will keep your request in mind and will check out the sources you posted. Thanks for your work, and for your encouraging words. (May I ask whether you've considered creating a username? That would make it possible for you to edit more pages as your experience grows. Just a thought.) Too-Rye-Ay (talk) 00:51, 15 May 2025 (UTC)
Silver Springs
Good evening, After reading your revisions to "Silver Springs", I was originally lukewarm on some of the changes that you made and manually reverted them. Soon after, I looked at the article and concluded that you made these edits for a reason - the article from June 7th had some problems in terms of duplicative information and an unoptimized sequencing of paragraphs that were not in chronological order. As such, I ultimately restored what you wrote and subdivided the article into smaller sections that should be easier to read. My apologies for being initially dismissive of your work. Dobbyelf62 (talk) 22:48, 8 June 2025 (UTC)
- Thanks, User:Dobbyelf62, for your explanation, and for taking a second look at my edits. I could have done a better job explaining the reasons I overhauled the page, so that is my fault. My apologies. I tend to be an impatient editor. Also, I think your subheadings are an improvement, so thanks for adding them. Too-Rye-Ay (talk) 23:01, 8 June 2025 (UTC)

List of current United States governors
The removal of the lead at List of current United States governors is inappropriate and should have been discussed on the talk page in order to gain consensus. As a featured list, it is expected that major changes conform with the FL criteria and relevant guidelines. Please do not create malformed leads in the future. SounderBruce 17:33, 4 July 2025 (UTC)

January 2026
Hello. Thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. I noticed that your recent edit to Jim McGreevey did not have an edit summary. Collaboration among editors is fundamental to Wikipedia, and every edit should be explained by a clear edit summary, or by discussion on the talk page. Please use the edit summary field to explain your reasoning for an edit or to describe what it changes. Summaries save time for other editors and reduce the chances that your edit will be misunderstood. For some edits, an adequate summary may be quite brief.
The edit summary field looks like this:
Edit summary (Briefly describe your changes)
or in the visual editor:
Edit summary (Briefly describe your changes)
Please provide an edit summary for every edit you make. When logged in to your Wikipedia account, you can give yourself a reminder by setting Preferences → Editing →
Prompt me when entering a blank edit summary (or the default undo summary), and then click the "Save" button.
