Hi @Tosca-the-engineer. Thank you for reviewing my edit request on this page. In your recent edit on the page, you changed this reference for an award to his CV. Is Chosun reference not suitable in this case? HRShami (talk) 05:16, 16 April 2026 (UTC)

The link in the Chosun reference was to an article from 2010. (The "html_dir/2010/12/20/" in the URL was a clue). Since the article was about the President's Award recipients, I moved it instead of deleting it. ―Tosca-the-engineer (talk) 13:48, 16 April 2026 (UTC)

Ah yes! In that case, can you please delete the two awards that are referenced from his CV:

2014 – Scientist of the Month, National Research Foundation of Korea

2023 – Science and Technology Medal of Honor, South Korean government

I haven't been able to find secondary references for these awards and sourcing awards from primary sources is one of the reasons for the tag at the top of the article. After these awards are removed, I can ask the editor who placed the primary sources tag to reevaluate the article. HRShami (talk) 06:02, 17 April 2026 (UTC)
