Hello, I'm Dieter Lloyd Wexler. I noticed that you added or changed content in an article, 2025 MotoGP World Championship, but you didn't provide a reliable source. It's been removed and archived in the page history for now, but if you'd like to include a citation and re-add it, please do so. You can have a look at referencing for beginners. If you think I made a mistake, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. Dieter Lloyd Wexler 21:49, 30 September 2024 (UTC)
About the Image of COTA NASCAR Layout
Hello, firstly thanks for uploading the national layout image of the Circuit of the Americas, and also for uploading the maps for NASCAR layout of Autódromo Hermanos Rodríguez and Formula E layout of Jeddah Corniche Circuit. This image is also needed for showing the other layout map of COTA, in which was used on some races such as 2013 Austin 400. However, according to the NASCAR race website, a little bit longer and different layout will be used, in which include a hairpin instead of the chicane complex at the normal National layout.[1] I am interested in race track articles, but I don't have any knowledge for creating race track layout maps. So, could you also create and upload this planned NASCAR layout image for the Circuit of the Americas. Apeiro94 (talk) 20:59, 23 February 2025 (UTC)
About Mexico City historical layout maps
Hello, firstly thanks for creating and uploading the layout image of Autódromo Hermanos Rodríguez National Circuit with Foro Sol months ago. Actually, there were different layouts used through the history of Autódromo Hermanos Rodríguez, but wrong layout maps were shown in the pages of races in which these layouts were used. Is it possible also to create and upload these images? Here are the references for the layouts:
- NASCAR Circuit & Champ Car/A1GP Grand Prix Circuit (Modified Grand Prix Circuit with chicane) & CART/Champ Car Grand Prix Circuit (Modified Grand Prix Circuit with Foro Sol): [2][3]
- A1GP Grand Prix Circuit (NASCAR Circuit with chicane): [4]

- Hi Apeiro94, I appreciate you for bringing this to my attention. Based on research, I believe that there were 4 total layouts that were used throughout CART/Champ Car, the A1GP series, and NASCAR from 2002-08, that I have created and uploaded maps for. Admittedly, I'm not the most skilled when it comes to editing articles, so I would appreciate it if you can add some of these track maps to related articles. Thanks!
- These are the links to the created track maps: - CART / Champ Car layout (2002-05) || - Champ Car / A1GP Layout (2006-08) || - NASCAR Layout (2005-06) || - NASCAR Layout (2007-08)
- Note: The NASCAR track maps used the official corner numbering that was provided, which showed that there were 8 turns (when counting all the corners, there should be 10 turns).

- Hello, thanks for your kind efforts, I will start to modify the circuit article and the related articles with these 4 new layout images, and I did not know the NASCAR layouts were different in 2005 and 2007, firstly thanks for noticing this. Besides the 4 other layouts, here are the also YouTube evidences why I suggested that A1GP used the different layout in the 2008 race with the NASCAR curve and the chicane on the back straight: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oHqVOIhuIAk&t=1879s && https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oHqVOIhuIAk&t=1912s Apeiro94 (talk) 19:59, 22 May 2025 (UTC)
- Hi Apeiro94, thanks for pointing this out, and I'm currently trying to create an additional map showcasing this layout. However, I am having a bit of trouble differentiating the corner numbers on this layout, as in this YouTube video (timestamps 9:24 and 15:43), there is a bit of confusion regarding where Turn 8 is located, as when counting up from Turn 4 (the shortcut also used for NASCAR), to Turn 9, there seems to only be 3 (not 4) corners. If you can find any additional info on this, then it would be much appreciated. Thanks! WL2392 (talk) 06:25, 24 May 2025 (UTC)
- Also, regarding the 2007 A1GP layout, I have found YouTube evidence that disproves that A1GP used the same layout as Champ Car, as it seems that they didn't use the backstretch chicane (I have updated the track article to reflect this): https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CdDz5QufCUQ&t=518s, https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=x7SsfE-0Mjk&t=358s
- There was already a pre-existing track map by Will Pettinger which shows the correct layout, which I have decided to use in the article: File:Autódromo Hermanos Rodríguez.svg WL2392 (talk) 06:32, 24 May 2025 (UTC)
- Thanks for the explanation of 2007 A1 race, I have just reordered the lap placing of A1 GP FL record for the Modified Circuit between 1985 and 2014. But, the layout map was still wrong for the 2008 race (2007–08 A1 Grand Prix of Nations, Mexico). Apeiro94 (talk) 14:28, 29 May 2025 (UTC)
- Hi, the 2008 A1GP layout at Autódromo Hermanos Rodríguez has now been uploaded: 1 (Quick Note: Due to the corner number confusion which was described in one of the messages above (at 06:25, 24 May 2025 (UTC)), the track map doesn't include any corner numbers. If you could find more info on it in the future, feel free to let me know! Thanks! WL2392 (talk) 03:47, 31 May 2025 (UTC)
