Learn you're facts, the Ba'ath Party first took power in February 1963 (and then lost power later that year), and then regained power in 1968... you are talking about the Qasim coup, and Qasim was not a Ba'athist. --TIAYN (talk) 12:15, 24 June 2013 (UTC)

I was confused on wiki, assuming that if communism took Iraq in the 50's, and the bathist party was communist, that the bathists took control in the 50's, they came in the 60's, and the cia helped because they hoped they could sway the new party of iraq to be anti-communist, but they were disappointed .
