Hello. I wanted to let you know that in your recent contributions to Doug Davis (businessman), you seemed to act as if you were the owner of the page. Everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to Wikipedia. This means that editors do not own articles, including ones they create, and should respect the work of their fellow contributors. If you create or edit an article, remember that others are free to change its content. Take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. Thank you. - Hi,
- could you please explain what your issue is with the edits I made? Zach547 (talk) 17:30, 20 February 2025 (UTC)
MSN
Hi Zach547,
I just saw your edit summary about your use of this source . The content is hosted on MSN, but it is taken from the New York Post, which should not be used for controversial statements related to living persons. JSFarman (talk) 17:35, 20 February 2025 (UTC)
DougDoug book
Hi Zach547, I'm Dare2Leap. I am watching the DougDoug stream and I noticed that DougDoug showed his Wikipedia article. Afterwards, a slew of edits arrived at the page. I reverted some of the edits, citing the need for sources, and then users who added the "author" and the DougDoug book info noted a source for the book "DOUG: A DougDoug Story":
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dMskVizanfs (the beggining of the video)
and
https://www.amazon.pl/dp/B0FNWC8L61?ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_fed_asin_title
While YouTube isn't reliable, from what I've seen of Wikipedia:External links/Perennial websites#Amazon, the latter one could be sufficient to add a bibliography section. But what do you think? |)are2|_eap (Talk) 00:27, 11 September 2025 (UTC)
- Hi, I am unsure about weather it amazon can be used as a source in that way, it only mentions using it for dates and if there's an ""official website" that only links to Amazon".
- regardless the article is locked now. Zach547 (talk) 00:34, 11 September 2025 (UTC)
