User talk:改めてその瞬間です

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Categories

For future reference, if somebody removes a redlinked category from a page and then you decide to actually create the category afterward, that is not a situation where you revert the other person's edit — it is a situation where you add the newly-created category as a new edit. Reverting my edit is for if I made a mistake, not for edits that were correct under the circumstances — so if I remove a redlinked category from a page because it doesn't exist at the time that I remove it, and then you decide to create the category afterward, that means that my edit was not a mistake, so I don't deserve a big red "your edit has been reverted, you bad, bad man" slap across the face in my notifications queue.

So you have to create the category and add the page to it as a new edit, not as a reversion of my edit, so that my notifications queue gets left the hell out of it. Bearcat (talk) 14:08, 5 May 2026 (UTC)
