Valentin Purosalo (born 10 September 2005) is a Finnish professional footballer who plays as a right-back for Veikkausliiga club Haka.[1][2][3]
Born in Turku, Purosalo grew up near Veritas Stadion, the home stadium of Inter Turku,[4] and started playing football in Turun Nappulaliiga youth sector. He joined Inter Turku in 2018.
He made his Veikkausliiga debut with Inter Turku first team on 8 July 2023, in a 2–2 away draw against Haka, scoring his first league goal in the match.[5]
On 19 November 2024, Purosalo joined Haka on a two-year deal with a one-year option.[6]
International career
In October 2023, Purosalo was part of the Finland U19 squad in the 2024 UEFA European Under-19 Championship qualification tournament, playing in three games against Romania, Czech Republic and San Marino.[7]
