Vaughan Murrae (born 2005/2006) is a Canadian actor and model.[1][2][3] They are known for playing non-binary characters.[3][4]
Murrae is from Hamilton, Ontario.[1][2] They came out as non-binary after questioning their identity during grade school.[1]
Career
Murrae began modeling at the age of 12, before turning to acting.[2][3]
In 2020, Murrae appeared in the Apple TV series Ghostwriter.[2][3]
In 2022, Murrae starred as Robin in the film Before I Change My Mind. For their leading role, they became the first non-binary actor to win the Boccalino d'Oro (Golden Jug) for Best Performance at the Locarno Film Festival; the award name was changed to be gender-neutral for the occasion.[2][4]
In 2024, Murrae played the role of KC in the Hallmark Channel series The Way Home.[4]
In 2026, Murrae played the role of Kelly in the Hulu miniseries Malcolm in the Middle: Life's Still Unfair.[2][3]
