Vechec (Hungarian: Vehéc) is a village and municipality in Vranov nad Topľou District in the Prešov Region of eastern Slovakia.
In historical records the village was first mentioned in 1402.
Geography
The municipality lies at an altitude of 181 metres (594 ft)[2] and covers an area of 17.27 km2 (6.67 sq mi) (2025).[4]
