Victor Michael Panaretos (born 1982) is a Greek mathematical statistician. He is currently Professor and Director at the Institute of Mathematics of the École Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne (EPFL), where he holds the chair of Mathematical Statistics.

Panaretos works at the interface of nonparametric statistics, random processes, and stochastic geometry. He is known for contributions to the functional data analysis of random functions, operators, and measures.[2] He has published widely in statistical theory and methods as well as in applied probability, and is the author of two books.[3][4]
