Vito Angelo Selma (born December 30, 1983) is a Filipino furniture and industrial designer known for his contemporary furniture designs that emphasize natural materials, particularly wood. He is the founder of the design brand Vito Selma, as well as Casa Selma and Archipelago Design Ventures Inc..[1]

Early life and education
Selma was born on December 30, 1983, in Cebu, Philippines. He grew up in a family engaged in furniture manufacturing, which influenced his early exposure to woodworking and design.[2]
He studied Interior Architecture at the Academy of Art University in San Francisco, California, before earning a master's degree in Industrial Design from the Scuola Politecnica di Design in Milan, Italy.[3]
Career
Early career
After completing his studies, Selma returned to the Philippines and joined his family’s furniture business, Stonesets International, Inc., where he served as Creative Director and later Head Design Director.[4]
In 2007, he launched his own design label, Vito Selma, debuting furniture collections that combined minimalist forms with organic textures.[5]
Brand development
The Vito Selma brand expanded internationally, with furniture pieces distributed to various countries and featured in design fairs and exhibitions.[6]
Selma later established Casa Selma, a lifestyle and home design brand, and Archipelago Design Ventures Inc., a design and procurement firm catering to architects, interior designers, and developers.[7]
