Warwick George Roger ONZM (21 August 1945 – 17 August 2018[1][2]) was a New Zealand journalist who founded Metro magazine.[3][4] In the 2008 Queen's Birthday Honours, Roger was appointed an Officer of the New Zealand Order of Merit, for services to journalism.[5] Roger died of Parkinson's disease in 2018 at the age of 72.[6]
