Wellworths was a supermarket chain, owned by the Fitzwilton trading in Northern Ireland until 1997.[1]
In the early 1990s, it was the dominant food retailer in Northern Ireland, with an estimated 22 to 24 percent market share in 1992.[2]
Along with Stewarts/Crazy Prices, it was one of the two main supermarkets in Northern Ireland until English-based retailers moved into the marketplace. [3]
