Wendell Garrett

Wendell D. Garrett (October 9, 1929 – November 14, 2012) was an American historian, expert on Americana and American-origin decorative arts and editor.[1][2]

Born in Los Angeles, Garrett received a bachelor's degree in history from the University of California, Los Angeles.[2] He obtained a master's degree from the Winterthur Program in American Material Culture at the University of Delaware and a second master's degree in American history from Harvard University.[2]
