Wendy Lorna Maitland (born 19 December 1975) is an English born former professional squash player who represented Scotland at the Commonwealth Games, was a twice champion of Scotland and won a silver medal at the European Team Championships.

Career
Maitland from Westhill, Aberdeenshire,[2] won the 1992 West Highland Open and successfully beat rival Pamela Nimmo to win the 1993 edition.[3] She won the 1994 Scottish Grand Prix which secure her team place at the European Team Championships.[4] By 1999 Maitland was the Grampian Development Officer for Scottish Squash.[5]
Maitland represented the 2002 Scottish team[6] at the 2002 Commonwealth Games in Manchester, England, where she competed in the singles and mixed doubles events.[7][8]
Maitland won a silver medal at the European Team Championships at the 2002 European Squash Team Championships in Böblingen[9][10][11] and also won two national titles at the Scottish National Squash Championships in 2002 and 2003.[12]
In 2012 now under her married name and after an eight-year break, Maitland-Jones made a comeback, winning the British Over 35 title.[13]
