West Tyrone DEA within Fermanagh and Omagh
West Tyrone DEA (1993–2014) within Omagh

West Tyrone is one of the seven district electoral areas (DEA) in Fermanagh and Omagh, Northern Ireland.[1] The district elects six members to Fermanagh and Omagh District Council and contains the wards of Dromore, Drumquin, Fairy Water, Fintona, Newtownsaville and Trillick.[2] Omagh forms part of the West Tyrone constituencies for the Northern Ireland Assembly and UK Parliament.

It was created for the 1985 local elections, replacing Omagh Area A and Omagh Area B which had existed since 1973, where it contained seven wards (Clanabogan, Dromore, Drumquin, Fairy Water, Fintona, Newtownsaville and Trillick). For the 2014 local elections it was reduced to six wards, although it maintained the Clanabogan area.
