Wet Dreams of the Insane
1991 demo album by Golgotha
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Wet Dreams of the Insane is the debut and only demo tape by sludge metal band Golgotha, who went on to become Acid Bath, keeping the same members other than Businelli and effectively being the same band. It is a much slower album then what Acid Bath would later make, and was made before the band had a microphone making some of the vocals hard to make out[1].

A radio EP was made for this album titled "KLSU Radio Demo 1991" which earned it significant radio coverage in the local area. This EP contains one original song, titled "Dax's Poem".[2]
Bassist Sammy Duet, who joined the band after the demo was released, claims that the opening track "Apartment 13" was the lead song of the demo, getting the most plays live.[3] Duet has also said that the chance of Wet Dreams Of The Insane ever getting remastered is very unlikely due to the original cassette pressings being old, and also due to Rotten Records technically having legal ownership .[4]
Golgotha eventually ended as the guitarist wasn't happy with the equipment and the rest of the band didn't like bassist Chad Pierce so they disbanded. Most of the members than joined most of the members from band "Dark Karnival" who had also just disbanded to create Acid Bath[5].
