"While My Lady Sleeps" is a 1941 jazz standard composed by Bronisław Kaper with lyrics by Gus Kahn. The song was written for the Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer film The Chocolate Soldier, where it was sung by Nelson Eddy.[2]
