This was a pool for predicting the date at which this revision becomes valid (meaning that the 300,000,000th edit has been made.) The person who came closest to the actual date became the winner (of eternal fame). The current number of edits in the English Wikipedia is 1,363,425,820.
This pool opened on February 27, 2009, with 288,363,830 edits at the time. The pool closed on June 7th, 2009 at 16:42, when the number of edits reached 295,000,000.
