I propose merging to Earthbound fandom#Fangames because the sources do not demonstrate the critical reception expected of a standalone article. Of the independent sources that actually discuss Bound to the Dark World, the GamesRadar source effectively only says that the project is impressive in scope, Time Extension mostly repeats an announcement, with about one sentence of added commentary: "As a result, it seems pretty fitting for fans of Earthbound to recreate one of Fox's games in this manner, with it being the perfect way to pay homage to the developer's ROM hacking past.", ResetEra is a forum thread, and GoNintendo is GUNREL. ~ A412 talk! 15:30, 16 June 2026 (UTC)

Oh wow, while i was trying to research more reliable sources for this article i found out this article has been nominated for merging! I will say though, there is indeed a lack of coverage, and i think a more appropiate merge would be if we just did a page for Undertale fangames. There is alot of them and some has gained enough coverage for a mention in a hypothetical "List of Undertale and Deltarune fangames" article Monathephantom (talk) 15:34, 16 June 2026 (UTC)
  • Merge to Deltarune rather, due to the subject matter of the game, though it can also be mentioned on the EarthBound page. Either way, coverage is slim and can't be called significant. ᴢxᴄᴠʙɴᴍ () 23:45, 16 June 2026 (UTC)
  • Merge as above to both proposed article targets given the Gamesradar article appears to be the only source of WP:SIGCOV. Merging can have multiple targets, can't it? The redirect target should be to Deltarune though. VRXCES (talk) 08:08, 17 June 2026 (UTC)
Merging can have multiple targets, can't it?
Yes, it can! FaviFake (talk) 08:32, 17 June 2026 (UTC)
Now this article can properly be scattered across space and time.[Humor] 🫀 Crash // Organhaver ( it / he|talk to me, maybe? ) 22:34, 17 June 2026 (UTC)
I still wish we did my suggestion though. There is enough Undertale and Deltarune fan projects that has news coverage, so I could still have split off into its one article Monathephantom (talk) 02:02, 18 June 2026 (UTC)
    It has to be notable via WP:NLIST. 🫀 Crash // Organhaver ( it / he|talk to me, maybe? ) 03:11, 18 June 2026 (UTC)
I'll see what i can do... Monathephantom (talk) 12:14, 18 June 2026 (UTC)

  • Merge to Earthbound fandom#Fangames per nom. Not sure where it would be merged to in Deltarune tho, there's no section in the article where this fangame would fit, at least as far as I can see. Also, support to the "List of Undertale and Deltarune fangames" idea. Octolin (talk) 00:21, 28 June 2026 (UTC)
Merge to Earthbound fandom#Fangames and Deltarune. I think it merits a sentence or two in each article, perhaps in the reception tab of the deltarune page?
On a separate point, off the top of my head it doesn't seem like a "List of Undertale and Deltarune fangames" page would pass WP:NLIST anytime in the future. Undertale Yellow is the only one that has remotely the neighborhood of WP:SIGCOV AFAIK, and it already has a substantial page on its own. The subject itself isn't in the same realm as something like Earthbound fangames or Mario romhacks. Yojo98 (talk) 02:25, 29 June 2026 (UTC)
