We take a break from the lake side cottages (don't worry, there are plenty left) to discuss a rail station/failed town. There is a 1914 plat map of the ostensible town; what there isn't is evidence that anything came of it, as the 1919 history cited in the article only mentions it (twice) as a station on the still extant Nickel Plate line, and there is nothing there whatsoever on any topo, leaving us with the typical post office in a station which evaporated in the wake of RFD service. The displacement of the label from the train line suggests copying the name from one map to the next, but there's no evidence I have found that a town ever happened. - Delete The article's Ref. 2, the only one that could possibly be considered reliable and secondary, plainly says it was just a station. Other than that we have GNIS and a couple of books/databases that are doubtful, based on the other geographic AfD's. Fails WP:NPLACE. WeirdNAnnoyed (talk) 11:16, 21 July 2025 (UTC)
