An indiscriminate list of alien characters from comics, the overwhelming majority of which are so minor they are only of interest to hardcore comic book fans. Wikipedia is not the DC Database, and even a list needs some sort of indication it passes WP:LISTN. ᴢxᴄᴠʙɴᴍ () 04:36, 24 July 2026 (UTC)

  • Note: this discussion has been included in the AfD sorting lists for the following topics: Fictional elements, Science fiction and fantasy, Comics and animation, and Lists. ᴢxᴄᴠʙɴᴍ () 04:36, 24 July 2026 (UTC)
  • Comment Category:DC Comics extraterrestrial species and races shows 16 results, but four are just redirects. So 12 alien species in DC comics have their own dedicated article. The only coverage I find is listicles such as https://screenrant.com/most-iconic-dc-comics-alien-races/ Dream Focus 13:01, 24 July 2026 (UTC)
  • Keep and trim as appropriate or merge to DC Universe#Aliens. Aliens are obviously a very important plot point in DC, and individual instances appear in quite a number of secondary sources, but in a limited search, like Dream Focus, I did not see expanded discussion as a group or set beyond ScreenRant and the like. Aside from that, the list is in bad shape, but the WP:INDISCRIMINATE issue could be solved by spelling out an inclusion critereon, like only including those which are covered elsewhere on Wikipedia (either in their own article or per redirect) or individually covered by secondary sources. My preferred version would be keeping such a trimmed version in the vein of WP:LISTN's "Lists that fulfill recognized ... navigational ... purposes are often kept regardless of any demonstrated notability", WP:LISTPURP-NAV and WP:CLN, i.e. a list helpful for navigating a reader through Wikipedia's coverage of this convoluted topic. The inferior version in my view would be to expand DC Universe#Aliens with content on notable DC aliens present here and missing at that target in a merge. Daranios (talk) 13:57, 24 July 2026 (UTC)
  • Merge to DC Universe#Aliens, but extremely lightly. Essentially, only the blue-linked entries that actually link to the correct topic should be preserved. By that I mean, examples like "Saturnians" that are blue linked here but but simply links to the article on the planet Saturn with no mention of the DC aliens, do not count. When everything is removed aside from those entries, there are actually very few, that would easily fit into the alien section of the DC Universe article as examples of actual noteworthy examples. • Comment - We don't have an official sister page of Features of the Marvel Universe and the draft that I thought was it that was started by @MillenniumGeneration: was actually for the DC Universe franchise that James Gunn started. There are also redirects to this AFD discussion that link to List of alien races in DC Comics with some of them being the alien races of the Legion of Super-Heroes. I'm just letting you users including the ones that come across this AFD know that. --Rtkat3 (talk) 01:29, 25 July 2026 (UTC)
Merge to DC Universe#Aliens per Rorshacma. Not a lot of coverage here but best to merge the blue linked entries to a parent article. Magneton Considerer: Pokelego999 (Talk) (Contribs) 20:08, 27 July 2026 (UTC)
