This article was created essentially as an unattributed copy of parts of the Simon I of Kartli article. The referencing and sourcing looked peculiar to say the least in the version first published to mainspace, with remnants of the cut-and-paste apparent. I subsequently tried to regularise and enrich the sources section, but it remains poorly cited, and I am not at all confident that the several sources / general references back up all the claims in the article. Several editors have either draftified the article or turned it into a redirect; the creator is adamant, sometimes quite vehemently so (Do not link this page to anything
pushes the envelope of WP:OWN), that it stays in main space. Though the subject may well be notable, I do not think that the article is sufficiently well written or well sourced (with inline citations) to stay in mainspace, and to my mind there are WP:AISIGNS, for example, the last sentence of Battle of Artvin section: The battle ended in a decisive Georgian victory, demonstrating effective coordination between regular forces and mountain fighters, and highlighting Georgian superiority in terrain-based warfare
, although the creator has said that AI was not used. I therefore advocate for draftification to allow the article to be improved and submitted through AfC, or alternatively simple redirection to Simon_I_of_Kartli#Second_reign_and_struggle_against_the_Ottomans.
