Per WP:BIO1E, this article is only about 2,200 words and can be merged into the main article covering the shooting, there are also other more notable shootings like Uvalde, or Christchurch where the perpetrator doesn't have their own article. ILoveSmallEdits (talk) 07:29, 3 August 2026 (UTC)

- Oppose as mover to main space because the rationale that "other more important cases" do not have their article is subjective. Who determines what is more important ... "more important" in these issues? Besides, the lives of these individuals vary greatly and are unrelated. Anyway, I do not care, but I leave my oppose here. PS: Don't ping me because I won't reply. - A similar case was discussed regarding Adam Lanza. By the way, seeing the argument from the user that "others do not have their own...", I have taken a look at their page and they barely signed up this year. - Merge (to 2008 Northern Illinois University shooting) although I want to emphasize it should be done carefully and selectively, as the target is a good article. The comparisons to other articles shouldn't be seen as WP:OTHERSTUFF here. The real argument is WP:BIO1E and WP:PAGEDECIDE; the other shootings just highlight that this is generally how those notability guidelines are evaluated in situations like this, and that there isn't anything substantially different about this evaluation. That's a PaG-based argument as far as I'm concerned, and one I very much agree with. –Maltazarian ᚾparleyinvestigateᛅ 14:09, 18 August 2026 (UTC)
