According to the Vermilion County Historical Society, Stumptown was in their county, not in this one. We do not have an article on it. The GNIS entry is one of those junk "citation unknown" ones. If someone wants to co-opt this article for the Vermilion place, that would be fine, but in the mean time, some WP:TNT seems to be in order. Mangoe (talk) 02:44, 25 September 2025 (UTC)

Comment Considering the article is just one sentence and an infobox, and the only complaint raised is that it should say Vermillion County, Indiana instead of Parke County, Indiana, why is it necessary to bring this to AfD when that issue could be addressed with one very quick and easy edit? I think that's a fairly weak reason to invoke TNT personally. TNT makes more sense when a page is such an unsalvageable mess that it's better to start from scratch, but we're just talking about one error that would only take one little edit to correct. • Delete Article is misinformation; coordinates point to a farm. With only one highly questionable source we can't have an article. If someone wants to create an article on the Vermilion County Stumptown that would be great, since the source cited above seems pretty good. WeirdNAnnoyed (talk) 11:29, 25 September 2025 (UTC)
• Weak keep I was leaning delete even with that source, but I am wondering if that was the intention and it was mislocated by GNIS. Looking at the source, it sounded like a farm that had a nickname, not an actual place, altho it does have the school and a church. Looking at Google street view, I cant verify the claim about the barn. Didnt find anything on Ancestry. I will look into converting it over. Metallurgist (talk) 18:18, 25 September 2025 (UTC)
