This is a collection of discussions on the deletion and merging of articles related to Chhattisgarh. It is one of many deletion lists coordinated by WikiProject Deletion sorting. Anyone can help maintain the list on this page.
- Adding a new AfD discussion
- Adding an AfD to this page does not add it to the main page at WP:AFD. Similarly, removing an AfD from this page does not remove it from the main page at WP:AFD. If you want to nominate an article for deletion, go through the process on that page before adding it to this page. To add a discussion to this page, follow these steps:
- Edit this page and add {{Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/PageName}} to the top of the list. Replace "PageName" with the relevant article name, i.e. the one on the existing AFD discussion. Also, indicate the title of the article in the edit summary as it is particularly helpful to add a link to the article in the edit summary. When you save the page, the discussion will automatically appear.
- You should also tag the AfD by adding {{subst:delsort|Chhattisgarh|~~~~}} to it, which will inform editors that it has been listed here. You may place this tag above or below the nomination statement or at the end of the discussion thread.
- There are a few scripts and tools that can make this easier.
- Removing a closed AfD discussion
- Closed AfD discussions are automatically removed by a bot.
- Other types of discussions
- You can also add and remove other discussions (prod, CfD, TfD etc.) related to Chhattisgarh. For the other XfD's, the process is the same as AfD (except {{Wikipedia:Miscellany for deletion/PageName}} is used for MFD and {{transclude xfd}} for the rest). For PRODs, adding a link with {{prodded}} will suffice.

I'm starting a deletion discussion with a proposal to redirect it to Chandelas of Jejakabhukti as this minor branch (claimed to have been founded after the end of the Chandelas of Jejakabhukti) has been present there which was forked on this page. There seems no results fetched from academias like JSTOR & Scholars, so I'm weary for a soft redirect as well. Nevertheless the current page falls short to have its own standalone article. Any Inclusionist argument should be backed with reliable sources and please avoid Ngrams, given we have weighed high quality sources here. Naslmah (talk) 14:14, 15 August 2026 (UTC)
- Delete: No reputed publishing house and putative sources give any slightest insights of this ahistoric state, basically a WP:REDUNDANTFORK. I doubt this even needs to be redirected untill we have studies regarding this. As of now totally unfounded:

- Redirect to Chandelas of Kalanjara as its branch. There seems to be no source regarding this dynasty or family on Google Scholar, JSTOR or Google books. After looking at the news sources of Google, there was no reliable source that could be used for notability of this article. It says that it is a minor branch of Chandelas of Jejakabhukti which I would suppose is notable. Fails WP:GNG. Also, the name of this article and the article's body state different names for some reason. Babin Mew (talk) 16:23, 15 August 2026 (UTC)
- Delete per nom, If there's no hearing about this in reliable sources then it fails WP:GNG and thus no article can be made out of it. I fear if it's a WP:HOAX and a WP:FANCRUFT. Vasilystepanov (talk) 19:48, 16 August 2026 (UTC)
