Wikipedia:WikiProject Deletion sorting/Georgia (U.S. state)
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
This is a collection of discussions on the deletion and merging of articles related to Georgia (U.S. state). It is one of many deletion lists coordinated by WikiProject Deletion sorting. Anyone can help maintain the list on this page.
- Adding a new AfD discussion
- Adding an AfD to this page does not add it to the main page at WP:AFD. Similarly, removing an AfD from this page does not remove it from the main page at WP:AFD. If you want to nominate an article for deletion, go through the process on that page before adding it to this page. To add a discussion to this page, follow these steps:
- Edit this page and add {{Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/PageName}} to the top of the list. Replace "PageName" with the relevant article name, i.e. the one on the existing AFD discussion. Also, indicate the title of the article in the edit summary as it is particularly helpful to add a link to the article in the edit summary. When you save the page, the discussion will automatically appear.
- You should also tag the AfD by adding {{subst:delsort|Georgia (U.S. state)|~~~~}} to it, which will inform editors that it has been listed here. You may place this tag above or below the nomination statement or at the end of the discussion thread.
- There are a few scripts and tools that can make this easier.
- Removing a closed AfD discussion
- Closed AfD discussions are automatically removed by a bot.
- Other types of discussions
- You can also add and remove other discussions (prod, CfD, TfD etc.) related to Georgia (U.S. state). For the other XfD's, the process is the same as AfD (except {{Wikipedia:Miscellany for deletion/PageName}} is used for MFD and {{transclude xfd}} for the rest). For PRODs, adding a link with {{prodded}} will suffice.
- Further information
- For further information see Wikipedia's deletion policy and WP:AfD for general information about Articles for Deletion, including a list of article deletions sorted by day of nomination.

Request for additional citations has been up since December, nothing has been added or found since then. A quick look at Google News and JStor reveals nothing immediately, and there also looks like there is a COI issue within the edit history here. Even if this subject can become notable, which seems unlikely, it should be entirely recreated due to the COI issues. Royal Autumn Crest (talk) 14:38, 30 July 2026 (UTC)

- Merge to Crown Financial Ministries, which he headed after his ministry merged with it and about which there are some articles. Jahaza (talk) 16:30, 30 July 2026 (UTC)
- Howard Dayton is a notable figure in 20th and 21st century. Dave Ramsey credits Howard with teaching him financial principles that he espouses to this day. Howard has appeared on Good Morning America and has been an advisor to many prominent figures. Howard is currently writing a new book. I will be happy to update the article and provide citations where needed. Maverick Martin (talk) 19:45, 30 July 2026 (UTC)
- Comment: If you wanna do a WP:HEY save, more power to you, but Dave Ramsey claiming anything is not a benefit to your arguement, as most of what comes out of his mouth is complete and utter garbage. Foxtrot620 (talk) 21:01, 30 July 2026 (UTC)

This is a disputed PROD. The temporary account that removed the PROD notice has not addressed the core concern that this article fails to meet WP:GNG. (The TA added a handful of external links, several of which were not specific to this road.) A search for sources to meet GNG has not borne fruit, leaving deletion as the option unless someone else can locate here-to-fore unknown sources that meet the standard.
