"Unless unintentional and non-malicious (for example, where Wikipedians know each other off-site and may inadvertently post personal information, such as using the other person's real name in discussions), attempted outing is sufficient grounds for an immediate block. This applies to the personal information of both editors and non-editors." Lets say a child under 18. The parent can legally search through the childs phone and can find wikipedia accounts. If the parent is a wikipedia editor, this is hard to avoid. Oversight exists but wikimedia does not prioritise those over 16 (18 is what I said) so what to do. Can I ask my parents to sign an NDA about the things on my phone legally or not. ~2025-34759-12 (talk) 06:25, 19 November 2025 (UTC)
Parent found wikipedia password Parent hacked into account (no legal way for child to avoid it) Parent vandalise wiki Child gets banned with no legal way to avoid it. The little brother excuse may be good in this situation. ~2025-34971-89 (talk) 22:43, 19 November 2025 (UTC) |
False accusations of LLM usage
| Accusations are being discussed at ANI. As it says at the top of this page, this is not the place to report harassment, real or perceived. |
