Hello WikiProject Arts, I am seeking a review for Draft:Raju Baviskar, which has been in the AfC queue for over a month.

The subject is a notable artist and author who was recently honored with the Sahitya Akademi Award for his book Kalyanilya Resha. Given the current backlog in general reviews, I was hoping an editor familiar with Indian literature and arts could take a look to ensure it meets the project's standards for move to mainspace. Hi! Rachel Lee Hovnanian is an artist currently on view at the Baltimore Museum of Art and has also exhibited at the Venice Biennale. Her page is still in the queue, and I was hoping someone would review it. New York Times just covered the BMA exhibit. I am disclosing that I work with her studio. I am writing to inform you that we have carried out a second import into Wikimedia Commons. This time, it comprises 270 photographs of theatre performances taken by Fred Erismann between 1956 and 1958 as part of his work as a photographer for the Stadttheater in Bern. The rights to reuse these images were granted by his daughter when she donated her father’s archive to the SAPA Foundation (Swiss Performing Arts Archives). On behalf of this foundation, we have uploaded the photographs to Commons along with structured metadata (project page on Wikidata).

You can find these photos in the Commons category Fonds Erismann (SAPA-A-1552). You can also filter photos using these different queries:

• List of people depicted by file: https://w.wiki/TwUw (some people appear in multiple files, and some files depict multiple people)

Some of these images might be useful for illustrating Wikipedia articles: feel free to use them as you see fit (example of reuse: Isabel Strauss). It would also be a good idea to add the images to the corresponding Wikidata items.

The current icon for Portal:Art does not look very good in dark mode. I propose using a black-white graphical icon of the same subject (a ballerina), which will flip to be white-on-black under dark mode. Current and proposed icons shown at actual size on the right.
