It works in collaboration with the World Professional Billiards and Snooker Association (WPBSA) and serves as a bridge between amateur and professional snooker. The WSF organizes international amateur tournaments, including the WSF Championships, which offer pathways for players to qualify for the World Snooker Tour (WST). It also supports national federations in growing the sport globally and ensuring fair competition at all levels.[1][2]
