Yasin Aktay (born 1966 in Siirt, Turkey) is a deputy chairman of the AK Party and head of the Turkish Group of Inter-Parliamentarian Union.[1][2] He is also known as one of the chief aides to the Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan. Before assuming this role, he served as a spokesman for the party.[3] Aktay is fluent in English and Arabic. He was elected as the deputy of Siirt in the 25th Parliament of Turkey.[4]
