Brunet was born in the neighborhood of Gávea, in the city of Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. Her father, Armando Fernandez, is an Argentine businessman[4] and her mother, Luíza Brunet, is a Brazilian model. She owns a home in Ipanema.[5]
