Yetkulsky District

Yetkulsky District (Russian: Е́ткульский район) is an administrative and municipal district (raion), one of the twenty-seven in Chelyabinsk Oblast, Russia.[1] It is located in the east of the oblast. The area of the district is 2,525 square kilometers (975 sq mi).[2] Its administrative center is the rural locality (a selo) of Yetkul.[1] Population: 30,697 (2010 census);[3] 30,165 (2002 Census);[5] 29,239 (1989 Soviet census).[6] The population of Yetkul accounts for 22.0% of the district's total population.[3]
