ZDCM-04, also known as DOC-fenethylline, is a recreational designer drug with psychedelic effects.^[1] It is a phenethylamine derivative which is thought to act as a prodrug of DOC and theophylline in the same way in which fenethylline acts as a prodrug for amphetamine and theophylline.^[1] ZDCM-04 was made illegal in Italy in March 2020.^[2] It has reportedly been identified from seized drug samples in Thailand.^{[citation needed]}
