Zuopaotai East station (Chinese: 左炮台东站; pinyin: Zuǒpàotái Dōng; Cantonese Yale: Jópaautòi Dōng) is the southern terminal metro station on Line 12 of Shenzhen Metro. It was opened on 28 November 2022.[1][2]

The station is named after the Left Fort which played a critical role in the defense of the Qing troops during the Opium Wars in the 19th century.[3]
